~~Primitive Early 19th c. Hand Hewn Bootjack - Oley PA. ~~

I am offering for your consideration a magnificant early 19th century hand hewn bootjack. This piece is most assuredly one of a kind and one of the best examples of "Early Primitive" that you will ever find!

With its old original burl like surface and outstanding primitive form, it is in a superb state of preservation. The early strip of early brown homespun was used to hang it from the well worn hanger hole, and is included.

It is 21 1/2 inches in length. One piece. No repairs & no restoration.

If you prefer to collect extremely early one of a kind primitives, in their purest most honest state, this piece is for you!

Circa: 1840-1850. Oley Pennsyvlania origin.
