~~Fine Civil War Period Iron Dough Scraper - PA. Origin~~


I am offering for your consideration an exceptional Civil War period hand forged iron dough scraper. It was purchased from a present day Pennsylvania blacksmiths collection and is the finest of the group.

This piece has a nice tall curved arched form and a solid teardrop shaped handle. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide, a 2 1/4 inch tall arch and a 3 3/4 inch long handle.

It remains untouched. I have not attempted to clean or alter the surface in any way.

The surface of this piece is as smooth as silk. It is in excellent condition with an appropriately aged surface.

Circa mid 1800's. Berks County Pennsylvania origin.
