~Early Pennsylvania Stepdown Spoon / Egg Keeper - Inverted Broken Arch Form~

I am offering for your consideration an outstanding early "step down" spoon or egg keeper. This piece came directly out of a Berks County Pennsylvania home. It is one of my all time favorites!

This piece has a nice tall curved arched top with an inverted broken arch / heart form below.

It measures 12 1/2 inches wide x 6 1/4 inches deep. The back is 12 1/2 inches tall and the holes measure approximately 3/4 of an inch.

This piece will accomodate a collection of early wooden spoons (as shown), however could alternate as a storage piece for eggs. In addition, it can either sit or be hung.

The rich surface and patina are gorgeous. It was constructed with small nails.
