~~Pair of Early Matching Ladies Blue Homespun Seed Pockets - PA.~~
They were likely pinned to a lady's skirt or apron when being used. There is no indication that they were ever permenantly sewn onto a piece of clothing.
They measure a fairly generous 5 inches x 5 1/4 inches and were 100% hand sewn.
They are clean, however one shows a bit more fading (as indicated).
They are part of my personal collection and were originally found in Berks County PA. You may also look forward to a matching large early blue homespun drawstring sack that was found with these little pockets, which may be posted at a later date.
