~~Fabulous Early Candle Lit Coach Lamp - Pennsylvania~~


I am offering for your consideration an exceptional Civil War period candle lit coach lamp. There are remnants of an early candle remaining on the interior...left as found. Because it is a candle lit piece, there is no doubt that it is still in working condition.

This piece measures approximately 18 inches tall.

It remains untouched. I have not attempted to clean or alter the surface in any way.

Considering the age of this piece, I feel that it is in excellent condition. The glass remains in tact and but for expected surface rust, it is a tremendous and exceedingly early piece of lighting.

Circa mid 1800's. Originally found in Berks County Pennsylvania. It has been in an existing collection for over 30 years.
