~~Early Dough Bowl - Rare Spiral Turned Base - Berks County PA. - 19th c.~~

I am offering for your consideration an early dough bowl with the absolute best authentic unaltered dark rich patina.

I am especially drawn to the spiraled base and dominate turnings. In addition, there is a pronounced turning on the interior, opposing the exterior lip. I have shown pictures to show all its wonderful attributes.

With its unaltered surface and irregular form, it is in a good state of preservation. There are however two fractures, but given the positive features and the fact that it is as pure and early as it gets, I can completely ignore the apologies.

It measures 12 1/2 inches x 13 1/4 inches. No repairs & no enhancements.

This piece is out of Berks County Pennsylvania and dates to the 19th century.
