It is in a superb state of preservation. It was found in storage and because of its exceptional condition, was apparently well cared for.

This bonnet displays beautifully, on a peg rack, bedpost or even a cupboard door!

I find both hand and treadle stitching. The stiff brim is heavily treadle stitched, yet the ties were stitched on by hand.

It measures 22 1/2 inches long. Excellent condition. No repairs & no restoration. A few minor stains.

A rare find in todays market, that has been in my private collection for over 25 years.
