This piece is as authentic as it gets. This particular scrub box was created with a sloping handle acting as the scouring board. It is worn as to be expected. The sliver of early hand made lye soap will be included.

The ruddy mustard / ochre painted surface is worn appearing to be original and a nice added bonus.

Nice old original irregular nail construction.

The worn hole in the handle makes it possible to hang.

It measures 10 1/4 inches long x 4 3/4 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches tall. A great old hard to find primitive.
